Daily Vocab ("chúng tôi") tôn trọng quyền riêng tư của bạn. Chính sách này giải thích chúng tôi thu thập, sử dụng và bảo vệ thông tin gì khi bạn dùng ứng dụng Daily Vocab (Android, iOS và widget màn hình chính).
1. Thông tin chúng tôi thu thập
- Thông tin tài khoản: nếu bạn đăng nhập/đăng ký, chúng tôi thu thập email và tên hiển thị (nếu có). Mật khẩu được gửi qua kết nối mã hoá (HTTPS) để xác thực và không được lưu dưới dạng văn bản thuần trên máy chủ.
- Phiên đăng nhập: access token/refresh token được lưu an toàn trên thiết bị (bộ nhớ mã hoá) để giữ bạn đăng nhập giữa các lần mở app.
- Thông tin kỹ thuật: hệ điều hành và phiên bản ứng dụng được gửi kèm mỗi yêu cầu tới máy chủ, phục vụ việc tương thích và hỗ trợ kỹ thuật.
- Dữ liệu học tập: từ vựng đã học, tiến độ, streak được lưu cục bộ trên thiết bị của bạn (cơ sở dữ liệu SQLite nội bộ), không gửi lên máy chủ của chúng tôi.
- Thông báo nhắc học: nếu bạn bật nhắc nhở, thông báo được lên lịch hoàn toàn trên thiết bị (local notification) — không có dữ liệu nào được gửi đi cho việc này.
- Âm thanh phát âm: khi bạn nhấn nghe phát âm, ứng dụng tải file âm thanh (mp3) từ nguồn từ điển bên thứ ba (Oxford); theo cơ chế truy cập mạng thông thường, địa chỉ IP của bạn có thể được bên đó ghi nhận theo chính sách riêng của họ.
2. Những gì chúng tôi không làm
- Chúng tôi không sử dụng quảng cáo hay SDK theo dõi/phân tích hành vi của bên thứ ba trong ứng dụng.
- Chúng tôi không bán hoặc cho thuê thông tin cá nhân của bạn.
- Chúng tôi không thu thập thông tin thanh toán (ứng dụng hiện chưa có tính năng mua trong ứng dụng).
3. Mục đích sử dụng thông tin
Thông tin tài khoản được dùng để xác thực đăng nhập, duy trì phiên sử dụng, và hỗ trợ bạn khi cần. Thông tin kỹ thuật (hệ điều hành, phiên bản app) giúp chúng tôi xử lý lỗi và tương thích thiết bị.
4. Chia sẻ thông tin
Chúng tôi không chia sẻ thông tin cá nhân của bạn cho bên thứ ba, ngoại trừ nhà cung cấp âm thanh phát âm (mục 1) khi bạn chủ động phát âm thanh, theo cách thông thường của mọi yêu cầu mạng.
5. Lưu trữ và xoá dữ liệu
Dữ liệu học tập lưu cục bộ sẽ bị xoá khi bạn gỡ cài đặt ứng dụng. Để yêu cầu xoá tài khoản và dữ liệu liên quan trên máy chủ, vui lòng liên hệ email bên dưới.
6. Trẻ em
Ứng dụng không hướng đến trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi và chúng tôi không cố ý thu thập thông tin từ trẻ em dưới độ tuổi này.
7. Thay đổi chính sách
Chúng tôi có thể cập nhật chính sách này theo thời gian. Ngày cập nhật mới nhất luôn hiển thị ở đầu trang.

Daily Vocab ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use the Daily Vocab app (Android, iOS, and Home Screen widgets).
1. Information we collect
- Account information: if you sign in/register, we collect your email address and display name (if provided). Your password is transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) for authentication and is not stored in plain text on our server.
- Session data: access/refresh tokens are stored securely on your device (encrypted storage) to keep you signed in between app launches.
- Technical information: device operating system and app version are sent with each request to our server, for compatibility and support purposes.
- Learning data: words studied, progress, and streak are stored locally on your device (local SQLite database) and are not uploaded to our server.
- Study reminders: if enabled, reminders are scheduled entirely on-device (local notifications) — no data is transmitted for this feature.
- Pronunciation audio: when you tap to hear a pronunciation, the app streams an mp3 file from a third-party dictionary source (Oxford); as with any network request, your IP address may be visible to that provider under their own policy.
2. What we don't do
- We do not use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs in the app.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- We do not collect payment information (the app currently has no in-app purchases).
3. How we use information
Account information is used to authenticate you, maintain your session, and provide support when needed. Technical information (OS, app version) helps us debug issues and ensure device compatibility.
4. Sharing of information
We do not share your personal information with third parties, except the pronunciation-audio provider described in section 1, and only when you actively play a pronunciation, as part of an ordinary network request.
5. Data retention and deletion
Locally stored learning data is removed when you uninstall the app. To request deletion of your account and related server-side data, please contact us using the email below.
6. Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under that age.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest update date is always shown at the top of this page.
